Matthew Lipman (Credo '05,'06,'07) placed first in the "Strings Category" of the Open Senior Division at the recent Walgreens National Concerto Competition. He was also named "Overall Winner" and will play the first movement of the Bartok Viola Concerto on February 23, 2008, at the Pick-Staiger Concert Hall on the campus of Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois) with the Midwest Young Artists Orchestra.
